This is a wonderful set of six vintage Taylor Smith Taylor luncheon plates in the morning glory pattern from the 1950s. The bottom has the hallmark and "USA" and the colors on the flowers are such pretty shades of blue, pink, and salmon with an ivy leaf pattern in relief in white all around the rims. The plates are in very good vintage condition with only some age-related crazing. These would be so beautiful for a tea or garden party. The dimensions are approximately 8 1/4 inches across.
I have more of this pattern that I was able to get at an auction and when I brought the box home I realized it hadn't been opened since being tucked away in an attic decades ago - the newspapers the dishes were wrapped in, the Lithuanian Weekly, were all yellow with age and dated 1959. I photocopied the heading for you and added it to the listing so you could see. Also, if you are interested in other pieces in this pattern, have a look at them in my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/MyVintageVTCottage
*Please note this listing is for the plates only and not any other items in the photos.
